...is supplied with the card. Sapphire have opted for a low cost solution with just the card, a driver disk, a DVI to D-Sub (VGA) converter and a cable for the TV out. There are no games or other pieces of software provided. This is really the minimum you would want to have supplied with any new graphics card but is also as much as most people need. Due to this the card is one of if not the cheapest card of its specification on the market.
The card ... ...have seen using it. It uses ATI's 'CATALYST' drivers which are currently available at version 4.3 and regularly updated (as often once per month)and are available from ATi's website. This brings me to the only issue I have seen with Sapphire's support, they currently have the CATALYST version 4.1 drivers as the most up to date drivers available on their website for this card, even though version 4.3 is fully compatible. Advantages: Extremely powerful with latest drivers. Disadvantages: Lack of RAM can limit performance.
For those who do not want to spend hundreds on the lastest technology this card will put your mind at ease for a good couple of years.
For a year i have been searching for a card like this which will run any PC game i have without a problem and the moment I spotted this little beauty for less than £100 I immediatly took advantage and got hold of one.
It runs games like Doom 3 & Half-Life 2 Extremely well and for those who dont play games.. these ... ...than that of a PC used for most graphical software.
However there are driver issues with this card (im not sure if it is card specific or driver specific).
Some of the older games are less detailed than they should be even on the maximum detail settings with the latest drivers.
So its a 50-50 deal. if you play older games stick with the older drivers.. Newer games go for the most latest drivers.
Either way this card will not fail to perform to ...
