Advantages: lovely food and good service from the waiters Disadvantages: Everthing else about the place
I have already done a review about Blackpool, and I absolutely love the place, we went to Blackpool two years ago on a family holiday, myself husband and three kids. We booked our holiday through The Belfast Telegraph travel agentsand we went through Ulster Bus tours, the price was £800 approx this included traveling expenses and the hotel.(Bed, breakfast and evening meal). The hotel was the Elgin and we were told that this was a great hotel for families.
Arriving at the hotel
We arrived at our hotel at about 7.30pm and had to que at the reception to get our keys this I didnt mind but our dinner was at 7.45pm and we still had to get our luggage to our room, we got our luggage sorted and went down for dinner, the food was beautiful and the service from the waiters was fantastic.
First impressions of the hotel

Advantages: Well appointed, clean, kids club, spacious, good food, friendly staff Disadvantages: None
I know, I know, Blackpool is perceived as fish'n'chips, bucket and spades, amusement arcades, B&B's. What about something different?
Choice Hotels in Blackpool run 3 hotels - The Claremont (near the North Pier), the Talk of The North (near South Pier) and the Cliffs Hotel (North Promenade just up from Gynn Square).
My family and I have stayed at the Cliffs Hotel on 6 occasions, ranging from weekend breaks to full weeks. Why? The hotel is large and well appointed - it has a 1920's feel about the facade and interior and is very clean and spacios. There are 5 bars and a large resturant. The food is excellent with a very good selection - the staff are very helpful and friendly.
There is a well appointed leisure club - free to residents. It has a pool, jacuzzi, small but very good gym, sauna, sunbeds and a leisure club bar. It ...
Advantages: Good hotel . Nice location Disadvantages: Bit Expensive for there bar prices.
I am writing to recomend the Imperial HotelBlackpool as a place to stay. I had a great time there on my birthday. In my opinion the staff there was very friendly and helpfull. The food was very good. The breakfast in my opinion was the best bit. As it was help yourself you could have as much as you want are as little as you need. If you are into keep fit the gym was good and the staff was there t help you if you needed any advice. The bedrooms was clean and well set out. I think that if you go there for a long weekend break you would find it a friendly hotel and and plenty of things to do. I have stopped at a number of hotels in Blackpool and i think that it`s one f the best places to stop. It must be good as the labour party stopped there for the conference. Who knows you could have slept in the same bed as Gordon Brown. The only bad ...
