Recently my sister started work at Ragdale Hall
Due to this we managed to get a discounted trip to entice us into the hall and start either a membership or a full treatment set.
We were allowed access to all the treatments for a night and the next day. Then in the evening we went. However we rushed through the treatments to have a taste of most of them.

We arrived at 6 O'clock in the evening as we drove up to the elegantly appearing country house. The gardens at the front were spectacularly kept. We started our check in at 6:05 and although there were NO other people there it took over half and hour to check in.

My friend booked Ragdale hall as a birthday treat for me as we love treating ourselves to health farms reguarly . We had never been to Ragdale hall but its website looked fantastic as did the treatments and facilities .
On arrival to Ragdale hall the hotel looked exactly how we imagined it to look and we was greeted kindly by their staff . After this things went from good to bad . We had been to Champneys a few times and received impeccable service including a guided tour of the place , however when asking for a tour we was told it was at a time of our treatments . No other time was offered and we was left to find our own way around the place . However the staff was kind enough to show us to our bedroom which was made into a big double bed bearing in mind we are two females who booked a twin room . Meal times were terrible , food ...

Last year we had our first opportunity to go away for the weekend without our children. First choice would have been Iceland but my Mum wasn't to keen on the idea of us skipping the country and leaving her with the kids so we chose Ragdale Hall instead! Ragdale Hall is a health spa based in MeltonMowbray not far from Leicester. The Hall itself is beautiful with Victorian Architecture and is very well laid out in the middle of the countryside adding to the feeling of peace and tranquillity.
On arrival, which for residential stays is early afternoon, you are directed up to the front door where you can unload your luggage etc then my husband went and parked the car, whilst I made my way to check in. They are very well staffed with enough people around to help with your baggage, loading it onto the trolleys then they look after it ...
