...Stockholm - what a beautiful city ! I have visited Stockholm twice for short breaks & I've fallen in love with it ! The city is actually many islands, so everywhere there is water. The summer days are long and warm - Stockholm is the Summer Night City of ABBA's song. The air is clean & fresh, the city is safe & friendly - it is literally a "breath of fresh air". There are lots of museums, plenty of good shops and great boat trips around the islands. Sweden is expensive - particularly alcohol, so be prepared, but on balance, it is worth every penny, or Krona !... Read review

...If you go to Stockholm, make shure to visit the old town! Nice narrow streets with old buildings and small shops! In Stockholm you can sence a little bit of the eastern Europe,when you see some of the buildings! It is big, but in the same time it is kind of intimate. Good restaurants and nightlife! Visit also the outer part of Stockholm, the suburbs! Stockholm is like The Venice of Sweden! It is build on small islands! It is really nice to go walking by the harbour! From Stockholm you can also go by ship or cruise to Finland or Estonia, Litauen and Russia!... Read review

...IF you are in Stockholm for shopping, you HAVE to go to NK department store. THis is the equivalent of Harrods in London. The store is packed with all the Swedish designer clothes and I found when they are on sale the brand 'Miu Miu' and 'Prada' are cheaper than in England Also H & M the high street chain store are much bigger and cheaper in Stockholm. For cosmetics, there's Face Stockholm and if you are going to ship things back home or going with a car, definitly should try to buy furnitures. The Swedish designs are just so hip and chic. Also I found food and alcohol are very expensive in Stockholm so may be buying food from a supermarket is a good idea in order to safe up.... Read review
