Advantages: pool, restaurant, ambassador lounge, comfortable rooms

My mum frequently comes to Finland on business and this is where she stays whenever she's in Helsinki. This means it's the place I've stayed on all my previous visits here. I've never found a reason to complain about it, but then again, my mum has always been the one paying. Scandic are a big company who have hotels all over Finland, as well as in Swedon and, I think, Norway. --- Location and Transport--- The Scandic is on Mannerhiemintie, which is a large street running straight through the city centre. It's about five or ten minutes walk from the very centre of town, but there's a tram stop right outside if it's cold or you're feeling lazy. Three different numbers of trams run down Mannerhiemintie at this point, so you shouldn't have to wait too long. The Finnair bus, which goes directly to the airport, stops immediately ...

Central Stockholm Hostel

Advantages: Cheap, Centrally located, Free internet,
Disadvantages: underground

The hostel also has a Washing machine and tumble drier and charges 60sek/load Room details The hostel provides the following room types Twin private - 350 6 Bed mixed - 210 10 Bed mixed - 195 18 Bed mixed - 175 All prices are in Swedish Kroner. The current exchange rate is 11.5 to 1 GBP. However when we went it was around 12.25 to 1GBP. The private room comes with a TV in the room. Local amenities Centrally located and near to everything that you might need to do in stockholm. We found that walking around the Island of Djuurgarden was the most enjoyable. We luckily found our way onto the island for sunset and this gave amazing views of around the city. Air Scandic - who are they?

Advantages: Good cabin crew, no real delays, very smooth
Disadvantages: Older planes in service

This opinion is my first opinion on the travel sector, and also my first after a long break from Ciao. I have decided to write about a popular topic on Ciao, which happens to be Airlines, after our recent experience on holiday this year. The Hughes? Annual Holiday 2003 was in Greece, in a small town called Sivota. We were due to fly out on the 14th July, through a tour operator called Olympic Holidays. Our paper?s came through the post, and I noticed the flight code, in which the Airline happened to be a code called ?SCY?. We puzzled over this, as we had never heard of an airline called this. I spent five minutes on the internet researching this code, and it turned out to be an airline called Air Scandic, whose main flying base was Manchester, which happened to be our departure airport.
