I recently had to go to Sweden to do some Rugby Coaching and therefore had to find the cheapest available flights local to me (London, Heathrow).
I chose British Midland at a total cost (return) of £133 (including all taxes) and booked on-line.
When my tickets arrived I discovered that this is a code-share route and I was flying with SAS so my thoughts suddenly moved away from economy to luxury.
I was right, from the moment I sat down on the non-smoking flight there was a drink in my hand, snacks on offer and duty free at very good prices. The Senior steward found out that I was going on to Sweden from Copenhagen and promptly took me through a vertical (?) tasting of Scandinavian beers ending on several too many (which he insisted I took off the plane with me.)
On my return flight I was bounced up to Business class and was even more spoiled with a three course (fish starter with a chicken and Ginger main)) luncheon that would have made it onto many a top-class restaurant menu. Again the wines flowed freely and the service was excellent.
During both flights I did not see anything other than a smile on a stewards face, this created happy passengers and made for an excellent flight.
When I go back to Sweden for more follow up Coaching I will definately go SAS

lucky you! although one lucky experience does not really qualify for a VH rating. You could really do with putting in some info about how much flights on SAS usually cost.
