Advantages: Amazing Night Life!!!!! Disadvantages: Loud!!!
...are looking for night life Scheveningen is the place to be.
The boardwalk is strewn with cafes and clubs, some staying open as late, or as early as 6AM.
I still haven't visited Scheveningen by day yet so I'm unable to comment on the day life, although from what I can gather it would be excellent for a day at the beach.
There is a Bungy Jump Club situated at the end of the pier and a large shopping mall, ... ...offers a selection of shops and has a huge a la carte restaurant at the end of it.
And for those who like em, Scheveningen has one or two coffeeshops to hunt out.
Definately the place to be for a night out!!!!! ... more

There is a Bungy Jump Club situated at the end of the pier and a large shopping mall, offering late night shopping on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 11pm.
There is a very large Holland Casio, difficult to miss when you step off the tram. The illuminations are fantastic, with the casino boasting a large tv screen in the center.
Cafe's and restaurants are plentiful, you could have anything from a cheese toastie to a full meal. Bars and Cafes cater for all tastes, many of which have live entertainment. The Pier ( www.pier.nl ) offers a selection of shops and has a huge a la carte restaurant at the end of it.

Second, Madurodam. Madurodam is a miniature village, which contains models of many famous buildings in the Netherlands. It's well worth a look, as the models are outstanding, and it could give you an idea of what else you may like to see. Alternatively, it could save you having to do any further travel throughout the Netherlands, as you will have seen everything of note already ;-). At ?13 entry for adults it is a little expensive, but it's a lot of fun. Don't forget to bring some extra gold coins with you, as many of the exhibits have coin activated movement (and one even gives you a miniature chocolate)
The Mesdag Panorama- I'm not going to say too much about this because you really do need to see it. It's a circular painting of Scheveningen (the ...
