Who would have thought that something so fine and pure could emanate from France? The country that created Citroen’s can create the finest lager available on planet earth. When I enter a new alcoholic beverage purveyors establishment (pub), my eyes look longingly towards the beer taps…Carlsberg, Carling, Heineken and oh yes Kronenburg.
My addiction stems back to a lads booze cruise to St. Malo where we stayed in a campsite. Being English students it was, as always, a moral obligation to drink in extreme quantities. We scraped together enough French to ask the rather agitated French campsite owner where the closest supermarket was. We travelled in style to the ‘Champion’ supermarche (actual name) on our dishevelled bikes, with one massive basket and of course a union jack flag. We needed food desperately ...

Advantages: Location, View, Parking, Price, Free Internet PC use, Brig is lovely! Disadvantages: Small bathroom, no balcony for room 201, no air conditioning
this was not necessary.
There was a nice lounge at the top of the hotel with a drinks machine, books and a free PC with Internet access from where you could check your emails.
Breakfast was simple, but fine, in a pleasant room at the front of the hotel, which opened out onto a small lawned area. The selection didn't include anything hot, but included hot drinks and juice, cereals, yoghurt, bread, bread rolls, preserves and a selection of meats and cheese (no croissants or pastries, or toast).
In all, we were very pleased with our stay at the Schlosshotel, and would recommend it to others who want a good, solid three star hotel with a great view! ...

On the first day God created Earth, on the second, he created Kronenburg and added the 1664 to cover it up.
Kronenburg 1664 has that light feathered twist that slides on your tongue like skis on a slope. It slips down your throat and leaves you licking your lips and going for more.
How can this not be the best lager including standard and premium lager around?
France have managed to create something truly amazing.

If you have never tasted the taste of Kronenburg then you obviously are about 3 and still growing, if by chance you are old enough for this then do it and get some.
Its fair priced, its not as cheap as we all want but its not to heavy on the wallet!

This 4-star castle hotel is located in the historical centre of Kronenburg, amidst beautiful countryside in the German-Belgian nature park, in the Eifel mountain range. The Schlosshotel Burghaus Kronenburg dates back to the 18th century, and was recently completely renovated. It features magnificent rooms with 4-poster beds and large LCD TV sets, as well as an impressive view of the idyllic Kyll valley, or the tranquil inner courtyard of the hotel. The Burghaus Kronenburg offers buffet breakfasts, lunches and a range of fine cuisine. There are is the gourmet restaurant with exquisite wines and the Orangerie with a its spacious terrace, offering a magnificent wide view.
