As many of you know already know for my birthday this year we headed off to the School Disco evening at the Hammersmith palais! It was a fab night and I highly recommend it to you all:
MY EXPERIENCE:
I invited 20 friends to join my on my birthday celebration, I booked and paid for all the tickets online as it was easier, I was impressed with the speed at which the tickets were delivered. Also if you have your tickets before the night you don’t have to queue. Everyone arrived at the flat looking fab, School Uniform is such and easy costume to find you can guarantee that everyone will make some kind of effort. We headed to the Venue for 8.30pm we got in the queue straight away and we were glad we did, we ended up being some of the people in the venue. The Room is large and spacious with a huge stage; the arrangement is very much like a large school hall, which helps add to the atmosphere. There are several bars situated around the hall and on a higher level as well. Word of warning it is expensive a bottle of Reef was £3.50.
Trcia24 then went for a wonder and returned with the surprise that there was another room with Karaoke! Upstairs there is the Karaoke room, this is we spent most of the night it was fab fun! And worked as a great meeting point! Looking over the balcony all
you can see is a sea of white shirts so advise you to chose a meeting point! Because one of you will get lost at some point! Another fab part of the evening was dancing across the huge stage; if you queue at the end of the stage then you can have a chance to strut your stuff in front of the 2,500 other clubbers! The Music was fab and I danced all night, glad I wore my trainers! If you are up for a snog then this is a place that will guarantee you get one! Meat market is a phrase that fits this place but it is all in good jest!
Getting home is a bit of a nightmare as lots of people are all leaving at the same time, my suggestion to you is that you book at cab before hand! We did this with Addison Cars, and got home with no trouble at all!

Advantages: Fantastic music, party atmosphere, something different Disadvantages: Hammersmith is a pain to get to and back from, very hot inside, testosterone everywhere!
