Advantages: Nice rooms, good service Disadvantages: Expensive, no facilities, distant from towns
i stayed in the Scotch Corner hotel for 2 nights while my girlfriend come up to visit me. Unless your staying here for business purposes then i would definately NOT recommend you to stay here. The customer service is great, but the hotel facilities are definitaley over rated by the pictures. The swimming pool is barely open, the restaurant is expensive, unless you can drive you cannot get to the nearest town, the gym is also rarely open. The bedrooms ... ...made to look better on pictures. There is nothing to do what so ever in the hotel and can be very boring, especially with kids there. Its a great hotel for meetings and conferences for business groups but not ideal for families or a nice weekend away. I think the price is high for the hotel itself. ...
