Advantages: Lovely Climate
Disadvantages: Easy to find your way around

touristy things to do. I took a river cruise along millionaire's row - where you can see a house built to look like a miniature White House! Last year I visited Bonnet House, which is named after a type of lily they have growing in the grounds. It houses some interesting art by the previous owners and you get an in-depth tour. Last year, we had temperatures in the nineties. This year however, things were more bearable in the eighties and we actually had some rain. The first weekend in May has, for the last two years anyway, seen an Air and Sea Show hit Fort Lauderdale. If you're into displays of military strength, then this is for you. However, it causes major disruption to bus routes etc. and motels are busy at this time. We decided to head to Daytona Beach at this point! ...

Review of Fort Lauderdale

Sea Club One of the Charms of Sharm...

Advantages: Location, weather, private jetty - snorkelling, seaview rooms.
Disadvantages: Food was basic, but good none the less! Wine isn't wonderful, but better after 2 glasses!

After the bomb went off in Sharm-el-Sheikh (Summer 2005), we have to say that we were a little apprehensive about our planned holiday, but we needn't have worried. Security was present just about everywhere and we felt very safe. It didn't affect our holiday in the slightest, we had an awesome time, and our hotel was lovely. So what can I tell you about the Sea Club? Well it's about 20kms away from the centre of Sharm in an area called Nabq Bay. It's a huge complex with just about everything you could want for a relaxing holiday. It also has a sister hotel called "Sea Life", and all guests of both hotels can use all the facilities at either hotel. Flash International should be renamed Flush

Advantages: Hot weather
Disadvantages: Lots

last time, (it was the First Choice Holiday Village and had it not been for the lovely weather I would have sworn we had gone to Butlins, as all these family villages are the same all over the world you have no idea what country you are in) so this time we wanted a more Egyptian hotel. The Sea Club resort is owned by Flash International who operate a number of cruise ships along the Nile and a number of hotels along the Red Sea (3 in Sharm) which they claim offer 5* luxury and you can use the facilities in any of their hotel in the area, what more could anybody want. So holiday booked, Tesco's shelves cleared of every sun cream and medical remedy possible, everything including the kitchen sink packed and an excited 3 year old in tow we set off for two weeks at the seaside.
