Sports fans are well catered for within the city by the local teams. Seahawks Baseball have a great new stadium (our last company meeting was held in the grounds). Seattle SuperSonics basketball is well cool, though the tickets are quite pricey. My favourite though was the Washington Huskies college football team, unlike Pro-Football with padding and commercial overtones, the college game is more physical and captivating to watch.

I've just went out and bought the latest installment of the Madden series, 2001. For anyone out there who takes their American Football serious this is the one. Incrdible attention to detail (even as far as recreating Huskie Stadium for the Seahawks. The game is packed with new features and plays like a dream. The huge bonus for me was the inclusion of NFL Europe teams (come on you Claymores). This really is the business. All the teams are there as well as some of the great all time teams like the 49ers of the 70's. Now included is also a Franchise section where you can raise and nurture your very own NFL team from scratch. Non NFL fanatics may find it quite complx at first to sink their teeth into, but a bit of persevernce and you'll see for yourself why I reckon this is going to be the sporting game of the year.
