Beautiful, quiet surroundings

Advantages: Quiet, very close to the beach, good surroundings
Disadvantages: Pool was dirty

We visited Evi Studios, Rhodes in the resort of Pefkos during the October half term break. We stopped for one week and travelled with Airtours. Unfortunatley I cannot remeber how much we paid exactly, but it was definatley under £1000 for a family of four, 2 adults and 2 children. We arrived at approximatley 01:00am and were showed to the room by the rep from the coach, as it wasn't a 24 hour reception. THE ROOM We were in a two bedroomed apartment with one bathroom, adults in one room, kids in the other. The rooms and utensils were very basic but it had everything that you needed. We had a two ring hob but this heated up very slowly and as we had no kettle, you had to wait 10 mintues just for a cup of te! The apartment we had, had a shower and a bath and we found that there was always plenty of hot water. But the other family ...

Secrets, Lies and Pony Club

Advantages: Light-hearted, very easy to read
Disadvantages: Slightly unlikely sub-plot and comedy

My mum and I share a love of books and at birthdays and Christmas we always present each other with armloads of titles collected over the course of the year, thinking; "Mum/Vix will love that!" My birthday this year was no exception and mum kindly gave me this one by Catherine Alliott. The book itself is a lovely chunky volume - I have the hardback and under the dust jacket the book is a dark blue. The jacket is a cream colour and as well as the title and the name of the author has a whimsical picture of a lady resting a foot on what seems to be big pink bow. The whole story is told in the first person, from Evie's point of view. Our heroine is Evie Hamilton, married to Ant and with one daughter Anna. They live in a house in Oxford where Ant is a don at the university. He's written a book that not only interested the great ...

Evie's Baby Tad.

Advantages: A delight to babies, Colourful, Cute, Plays songs.
Disadvantages: Can't wash baby Tad.

and your baby will hear 6 lovely, delightly songs, such as Ba,Ba,Black Sheep. If you're happy and you know it, Clap Your Hands. Twinkle,Twinkle Little Star and Hickory Dickory Dock the mouse run up the clock. If you press the moon button which is on the other hand you will hear " One Minute to night night" and then hear some classical music which will not only send your child to sleep but you as well. Baby Tad also has a big pink lip on the side of his face and if your child kissies him on that lip, baby Tad will say "I love you" Evie loves to Cuddle, squeeze, kiss and play with baby Tad, it really doe's sooth her. Baby Tad teachs Evie shapes, colours and songs.I like baby Tad because it is soft enough for Evie to have in her cot, it has no head bits, no sharp bits, it's just soft enough for evie to cuddle and play with, she ...
