I love Selfridges, and can happily spend an entire weekend there. ITs a haven for women on a mission. People of all shapes and sizes needing retail therapy can be treated here, just watch your bank balance its easy to get carried away. Selfridges really does cater for all, mums, dads and the kids. Selfridges can be found on Oxford Street - closest tube is Marble Arch on the Central Line. and is a stones throw from Hyde Park - perfect for leaving hubby and the kids when they do eventually get bored. Be wary though, once you enter, you'll find it hard to leave!!

Advantages: Large, spacious, choice, service, location, value during the sales, find things you are unlikely to find on the High Street. Disadvantages: Odour of the food hall, one might get lost, sometimes it is expensive, sometimes it is better to shop on Bond Street shop by shop.
