Selfridges, is better than harrods, it is brighter, has a much more modern slant, is slightly cheaper and doesn't have a "dress code" however, the one thing that spoils it is the attitude of some of the staff,some of them are so very far up their own backsides, its unreal. Shop assistants are just that - assistants! They need to remember this at all times, yes. it's a hard job, can be pressured and people can be downright rude, but when I go shopping I don't expect to be tutted at or given dirty looks! The staff on the make up counters often resemble clowns with half a pound of slap on their faces. Selfridges has an excellent range of goods and a brilliant food hall, An inspired range of clothes for both men and women. I normally buy all my Scents from selfridges as they often have the best deals (freebies as well) for the shopaholic you can apply for a selfridges store card, and get instant credit! A multi leveled paradise for those who like to shop shop eat shop shop shop and shop some more! The staff just need to be less snooty and it would get full marks.
