...also sells some wonderful jewellery. Orchids dipped in gold leaf etc. Useful for gifts to take back home for wives / girlfriends or even for yourself!!. (4)
Ø Sentosa Island - Full of attractions but worth getting a pass for entry to several attractions. One whole day is not enough to do the whole of Sentosa! The most scenic way to Sentosa is on the cable car but can also use the ferry or bridge. On one pass can get entry to the following:-

Advantages: Lots to Do and See Disadvantages: All the little cover charges mount up
...I have decided to write another review after all this time. Please be gentle with me.
I have been lucky enough to visit Singapore on four occasions and each time we always make time to visit Sentosa and I would like to share with you why.

Advantages: Very clean environment. Efficient.Good shopping. Disadvantages: High degree of social control.
....
Singapore is a good place to eat out. There are numerous Western,Japanese,Thai,Chinese,Malay,Indian and American style restaurants and for local hawker food, try the stalls at Newton Circus.
I would recommend a visit to the island of Sentosa,a good place for a fun day out,a visit to the botanical gardens is a pleasant excursion, and if you enjoy horse racing make a beeline for the Bukit Timah race course. For something unusual the figures of Chinese mythology at the Haw Par Villas may interest you. There are several theme parks on the Island ,including the Ming Village,if they are your "cup of tea."
Singapore may be small but it certainly is a "Mighty Midget" as a trip to this Island Republic at the heart of South east Asia would soon demonstrate. Do check it out !...
