This review is an overview of Seville and is meant as a taster which hopefully will encourage you to visit.
My Hubby and myself recently had a two week vacation in the Algarve , Portugal. We took our fist trip to Spain ever, travelling from our base in Albufeira, by coach to Seville. The journey was not too bad and we had 4 hours free-time in Seville. It was however about 4 hours travelling time there and the same back. Much of the coach journey ... ...Portugal, and then across Spain, was simply fields , a few trees and nothing particularly pretty or spectacular. We had to take our passports with us but we were not stopped as we crossed the bridge over the Guardiana River and entered Spain.
One thing we did notice as we made a journey break at the roadside services was that, unlike Portugal, no-one seemed to speak English. Well really why should they ? After all most British people like myself ...

Advantages: BEAUTIFUL PLACE - UNSPOILED - TRANQUIL - CLIMATE Disadvantages: SOMETIMES UNKEPT - NEEDS A BIT OF GOVERNMENT MONEY SPENDING ON IT!
Well, I’m writing this on New Years Eve, in the office, but totally bored as none of my customers are in their offices so I can’t phone them to chase them for their missing adverts…*sigh*

In 2002 I went to Seville, Spain. I have traveled quite a bit but not really in Europe much so I didn’t know what to expect. Seville is a beautiful town – very ... ...suggest Seville and we went at an excellent time weatherwise – not too hot or cold.
We spent 5 days there in May 2002, at the Hotel San Gil – this is a 4 star hotel, where most of the rooms are suites, sadly we had one of the very few double rooms there.
They serve breakfast and ‘bar snacks’ I have put this in hyphens because the ‘snacks’ leave much to be desired to be honest, and as vegetarians our one and only ...

Advantages: great bars and tourist attractions Disadvantages: too hot in summer
...You can fly directly to Sevilla with Iberia airlines (around £100-£150) or get a connecting flight from Madrid, which is cheaper. If you are really on a budget, it is simple to get a flight to Malaga (usually there are very cheap deals to this airport) and get a coach or train to Sevilla. There ar e loads of hotels in the city itself- whether it is budget or five star that you would like. It is worth bearing in mind that the residents have a huge ... ...prices are inflated - but I have been told that the atmostphere in the city, as well as all the street parties are amazing at this time. When to go: Spring or Autumn. I really wouldn't recommend summer, as the city gets unbearably hot, and you just wont be able to face leaving your nice, air conditioned room! ...

...sun and watching the fishermen, Sevilla has it all. Oh, and the nightlife is great as well - don't plan to be back at your hotel before 6. That's fine though, because you can catch up the lost sleep in the afternoon.
We even managed to catch the Liverpool v. Real Betis Champions' League game during our time there - not one of the most classic matches I have ever watched, but the experience of sitting in a home supporters' stand wearing a red shirt ... ...All in all, Sevilla is a beautiful city, and could keep even the most flighty of us occupied for a couple of weeks. Whatever it is you look for in a holiday, you can find it in Sevilla, and I look forward to having the opportunity to go back there in the near future. I hope to see you there! ...

Advantages: our weather, our people... Certainly Spain is different ;-) Disadvantages: Come to Spain, probably you´ll finally find one or two ;-p
..., bullfigthers... and olé. All this, is Andalucia. People from differents regiones (something like countys) are different. Not worse or better. Only different. If you want toros go to Pamplona at San Fermin. If you want Fallas come to my Valencia. If you want a incredible green landpscape go to Asturias or Cantabria. If you want Sevilla´s Fair... etc.
And here are some adverts for you if you have planned visit Spain:

When you saw a beautiful poster in the restaurat saying: English is spoken... Run!. Only are 2 possibilities: Or You´re in Benidorm,Costa del Sol or another place very touristic and you actually can stay and try, or you are probably in front...
