...What woudl you expect of a 5 star hotel in central London. If you have the cash then this is a great place to stay. Located off Park Lane, it's 5 star all the way, you may even bump into a visiting celebrity or three..! The rooms are pretty spacious, room service quick and tasty, plus all the faciltiies you'd expect.. One downside, apart from the price is the lack of a friendly atmosphere which does tend to be lacking at the larger chain hotels (Apart from the Sheraton chain..). Of course unless you've the money to make a difference, you may feel that you're not being looked after as well as the millionaire stood next to you at check-in... but at least you can live like a King for a few days!...

Advantages: Cheap, good location, friendly helpful staff. Disadvantages: Not luxury. World's smallest shower room.
...and tea or coffee etc. Fairly typical. It was nicer than I expected anyway.
The staff are all foreign but they do speak good English, are friendly and helpful.
The reception is staffed 24 hours a day meaning that you can come in at any time. Entry is buy a buzzer at the door, complete with CCTV camera so security is pretty good.
I believe that there is internet access available for guests.
Some things are available to buy from the reception, such as shampoo, soft drinks etc. But as you can imagine these are all pricey. Rather standard for a hotel.
There is a luggage room for leaving cases in after you check out, which is handy as check out time is 10:30, but I wasn't due to leave London until that night.
All in I was impressed by this hotel. It was cheap, great value and in a nice area, being between Belgravia and Chelsea...

Advantages: nice rooms, convenient location, lovely pool bar Disadvantages: Parking and food were a little on the expensive side
...unable to comment on the quality of the food. We enjoyed a drink at the poolside bar which had a very inviting atmosphere, very relaxed and well decorated with palm trees and little bridges connecting the various sections. Again though, the prices were a little steep, we bought a beer and a cocktail and the bill came to £16!
Location and surroundings
The Sheraton Skyline was easy to find, we printed off some directions from their website and literally followed them right to the doorstep. In the morning, it only took us ten minutes in the car to reach Heathrow Airport.
Summary
I would highly recommend this hotel for people wanting to stay nearby to Heathrow airport, although be aware that the food inside the hotel is expensive and so is the parking but you would expect high rates of parking in London anyway. I felt that I got a really good...
