Advantages: great location and service. Disadvantages: not suitable for honeymooners
...we booked this hotel through my husbands employees only travel agency in june 2004.
we got a very good deal 7 day deal on a flights and hotel package - (king size room on B&B basis). the package cost £700, which is quite good during peak time. normally a room per night would cost about £70 for a king size. (check sheraton website for more details). best thing to always do is shop around of course !
We were transferred from the airport to the hotel by the hotel appointed transfer vehicle. Cost 70 TD, which works out to roughly £35, and took about 40 minutes.

You will usually have to be over 21 years old to hire a car on the Canary Islands. Some companies will expect you top have a clean license. Advantages: Very luxurious, Good Service,Good Food Disadvantages: expensive

Because of the price i wasn't expecting the hotel to be like the other Sheraton's i have stayed in before. Such as the Sheraton in Los Angles which was absolutely fantastic.
As soon as the Excel Airways plane touched down in Luxor Internatonal the locals constantly pestered us to rent trolley and buy food and drink. This was a cultural shock to me because it was the first 3rd World country i have ever been to.
Anyway after about a 20 minute ride in the coach we pulled up outside the Sheraton Luxor. The reception was fantastic-huge with loads of comfy seats...
