We were offered in March 1999 a holiday in the Adeje, LaCaleta area of Tenerife by my father in law. He said that the area would be quiet but as we had a 15 month old daughter we thought that it would be ideal for her first holiday abroad. We enjoyed ourselves so much in July 2000 we went back but this time for 2 weeks instead of one.
We actually stayed in two different appartment, one in Adeje and the other at Sunset Harbour between fanabe and Torviscas beaches. It is such an easy place to go with children as the Spanish really love the kids but the areas do tend to be quiet hilly and not recommended if you are to take a person in a wheelchair unless powered.
