Turtle Bay Resort, Relax and enjoy the gorgeous views.

Advantages: all brilliant
Disadvantages: expensive

From my experience at the Turtle Bay Resort, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone else. My family and I (four of us) stayed in a little cottage at the side of the bay, with two luxurious king sized beds, an outside patio with a table and breath taking views- sunset was the most amazing time of the day. Our whole time there was very pleasant and I throughly enjoyed every second of it. The facilities included a games room and exciting pools, one with a water slide and a large hot tub. The is a poolside bar, which also serves food and then a restaurant and shop within the main hotel. From my point of view it is deffinetly worth the money, and you can be guarenteed a relaxing and refreshing stay at the resort. ...

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa (And NOW Photos: 19/2/08)

Advantages: Close to the airport for transfers, Great Food.
Disadvantages: Lots of seaweed gets washed up on the beach.

Flight Out: I used Virgin Atlantic who fly out here. The flying time is 8 hours but, because of the time difference, it was the equivilent to a 4 hour flight (great). Of course this means the opposite coming back. Its 8 hours flying but you have to add 4 hours onto the time. Not so good Landed: The resort is within a 10 minute drive of the airport. Once there, the drive with the coconut palm trees gives you the clues that you've well and truely arrived. All in: The hotel is fully-inclusive so all the food (even in the 2 specialist food restaurants) is all in, as are MOST drinks. If you want a bottle of 'champers' with a meal, this is extra. Reception: The reception staff are helpful and friendly but with any complaints, if you should have any, ask to speak to the manager. The counter is a long one and can cope with quite ...

SHERATON HAMMAMET, Tunisia

Advantages: great location and service.
Disadvantages: not suitable for honeymooners

we booked this hotel through my husbands employees only travel agency in june 2004. we got a very good deal 7 day deal on a flights and hotel package - (king size room on B&B basis). the package cost £700, which is quite good during peak time. normally a room per night would cost about £70 for a king size. (check sheraton website for more details). best thing to always do is shop around of course ! We were transferred from the airport to the hotel by the hotel appointed transfer vehicle. Cost 70 TD, which works out to roughly £35, and took about 40 minutes. We got there late evening, while the entertainment was still on ? some magician, who well?.lets just say the kids were entertained ! The rooms are within many bungalows, dispersed throughout 4 acres of beautiful gardens, situated right next to the beach. We were ...
