Advantages: Easy to navigate, plenty of toilets. Disadvantages: Time in Queues and Speaker system.
Here is my experience of Orlando International Airport which we have used on Three holidays to Florida, our latest visit was Nov 2007.
Orlando International airport is one of the main Airports for Central Florida but some airlines use Sanford which is further from Orlando. It really depends on the airline company to which airport you will land at, we used Virgin for all trips and all arrived at the same area of the international airport.
Before you arrive in the USA don't forget to fill is those green visa waiver forms for each person in your party oh and 1 white customs form for the whole family. Fill this out correctly other wise you will pay for this later, time wise. The airline crew are very good and will help by checking over your forms but you must ask them to do this. Advantages: Huge apartments, great pool and perfect location. Disadvantages: Not cheap!
We have been lucky enough to visit Orlando several times and by far and away the best place we have found to stay is Sheraton Vistana Villages.
Location
This hotel is situated on the Southern end of International Drive. It is a set south of the attractions and restaurants which make International drive very busy so it is much quieter than many hotels. I-drive is easily accesible in about 5-8 minutes by car, there is also a stop for the I-drive trolley bus outside the hotel. Seaworld is about 5 minutes dive away, Universal studios area is about 20 minutes north and Disneyland entrance is less than 10 minutes south. The roads are easy and there are no tolls. There is a Publix supermarket about 3 mins drive away. The journey from the International airport takes about 25 minutes and the property is easy to find.

Advantages: So much to see and do, lots of things are cheap. Disadvantages: Not enough time to do it all, some big costs.
Orlando Florida, Wow! Where do I start, can I fit all the information in this review, will I forget details as is so often the way of great places, let’s hope not. I booked my trip to Orlando in October 1999 for Summer 2000, there were 4 of us going, all adults (21-33 years old) Therefore we had no children and several people had told us it was more for kids.
We flew from Manchester Ringway to OrlandoAirport, taking little over 9 and half-hours. The flight itself was pretty good (Monarch Air) and we touched down at 2 in the afternoon. That meant we were in the hottest part of the day, so my first tip is this, have loose US change in your pockets to get a few cold drinks when you get off the plane and out of the airport.
