Shibden Hall is a Tudor-built manor house in the Shibden Valley, in Calderdale, which was owned by one family for 300 years. Today it belongs to Calderdale council, and is a public museum set in beautiful parkland. The house was built in about 1420, and is a Grade II listed house. It has been owned by four families, with the Listers being the final family. A Lister was the house's most famous resident.
