Jesus, I wonder how much of a bung Westfield had to chuck the way of some of Derby City Council to get them to allow planning permission for this unbelievable eyesore. It looks like someone has built a distribution depot in the city centre, it is just a huge grey box.
A shit-hole of biblical proprtions - I hope Osama Bin Laden chooses it as his next target and then we'll be rid of it.
Thanks very much to Westfield and Derby City Council for ruining Derby. When the rest of the country is emerging from the current recession, Derby will still be firmly entrenched because it has become an awful place to visit. Shops around the city are closing down at an alarming rate and nobody seems to like the new centre so there really is no reason to go to the city at all.
