Good little bed and breakfast Advantages: Good location, nice breakfast Disadvantages: Small hotel- though this is necessary a bad thing ...week at the 3 star Hotel Palladio. Located just in front of the beach in a great central location with many shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Hotel Palladio itself is very small- 15 rooms. There is no bar or swimming pool, however the hotel has a hall with a small library and a veranda facing the sea where the buffet breakfast is served. Other facilites include free internet service, a solarium, luggage store and laundry service. Being ... ...the bathroom. There was plenty of drawers and a big cupboard for storage of clothes- something i found very useful. Price of rooms range from about £30-£80 a night. not even a 2 star Advantages: good breakfast, reception personel Disadvantages: all the rest We are a Belgian group. We stayed with 44 people in this hotel. Breakfast is verry good and people at the reception are friendly. And the rest ... it's not even a 2 star hotel, verry poor quality/price. The food in the restaurant is verry, verry bad (I've never had this food, not even in a 1 star hotel), the waiters (except Rosie) are rude and unpolite (only beautifull woman can get supplements). A basic family-friendly hotel in a great location Advantages: Lovely beachfront location Disadvantages: Poor restaurant Hotel Tourist looked very promising when we first arrived after a long drive from Palermo. The bar area is very pleasant, and the staff friendly and welcoming. Our room was good - fairly basic but clean and sufficient for our needs. However, the quality of the food was not so good - and unfortunately didn't improve during our stay. We had booked half board - and quickly realised we should have gone for B&B, as there are some fabulous restaurants ... ...the quality of the food ranged from average to poor. Outside the pool area was large, but didn't feel particularly safe for children, with no children's area. The beach across the road was lovely, although we could have done with a deckchair attendant to help drag chairs into position! Overall, it's a nice base to explore Cefalu, which is a beautiful little town with many lovely bars and restaurants. Really good hotel in Agrigento,Sicily Advantages: fantastic service Disadvantages: do not have In this hotel i have spend one week previous year when have visit Sicily first time! I can say only the best words for this hotel!First of all it stays in very beautiful city Agrigento, near hotel you can find bus, shops, restaurants and it does not take much time for go to beach or visit historical temples! Don't stay at Liberty, very dangerous area Advantages: near city centre Disadvantages: very dangerous area ...city in Sicily and the Liberty Hotel is in a bad area of the city. I tried to stay there but was carjacked right outside the Liberty Hotel!!! A man blocked the road while his team of thieves opened my car doors and stole our bags. Because of this incident, I drove off and didn't stay at the hotel that night. My girlfriend was terrified. When I told the hotel about this incident, they would not refund my money for that night. The manager said it was ... ...do not stay at the Liberty Hotel. I don't like supporting people that profit on other's misfortunes. Also, be very careful in that area. We spoke to someone who grew up in that area and recommended not traversing in that area if you are a tourist. Stay away from the Liberty Hotel!!!
