Recently completed a journey. As was described in the previous review the check in at Luton is really the best feature of this airline. It was effortless and the lounge was impressive with fully stocked bar and very attentive and friendly staff. On board the seats are comfortable. However the refit of the plane seems to have only included the seats. The toilets were as old as the plane and I am sure at least the toilet seats could have been changed. Service on board was attentive and friendly but no quite up to standards of BA, Virgin or EOS. I have a dietry requirement and I have to say that the meal that was provided was one of the best I have had on any airline. My companion had pre-ordered one of the curries from the specials menu and said it was average quality but enjoyable. We were late into Newark but disembarked quickly and painlessly - although luggage delivery wasn't that quick. I had booked a car service through the airline and the driver was nowhere to be found. We were not allowed into the lounge at newark as they said it had departing passengers inside (they do advertise it as an arrivals lounge onboard). I had to stand around for about 15 minutes until they located the driver and then I was underway. As was the case on the return journey to Neward the car service wasn't that good - older cars and the drivers certainly didn't seem to have any sort of uniform although they were friendly and polite.

The return journey was ok. Lounge at Newark is nothing compared to Luton. In fact, the Newark lounge looks like the result of a bad shopping trip to Ikea. However the staff were friendly and plenty of drinks and snacks on offer. Trip through security was slow and once on board we were on our way quickly. The inflight service on the return flight was quite good but far too slow for a night flight. I only had a main course and a couple of drinks and that took about an hour and a half. Lights in the cabin remained on throughout the meal which I am sure would have annoyed those trying to sleep. The seats are pretty comfortable but not on a par with BA, Virgin, or EOS. Upon arrival into Luton we were off the plane and into the lounge quickly. Showers are available and seemed to be constantly cleaned as were the bathrooms. Breakfast items were available and again the staff were excellent.

I know that this seems a pretty pessimistic review but altogether this was quite a nice flight. The lounge at luton is the best feature and the staff there really should be commended. On board I think the staff have a little bit to go in terms of confidence and approaching service and the meal service on the return night flight really should be faster or people will end up not eating in order to maximise sleep. This flight was only £799 return which is amazing compared to what I normally pay for BA or Virgin. It was well worth the money, give them a try.
