Not for me

Pronone

ConsServices are regularly disrupted, trains are too p...

Since the Paddington rail crash in October 1999 and the Hatfield crash in Oct 2000 the rail services have got so unreliable and this does not go for just Silver Link trains, but all services. However I am writing about Silverlink. Silverlink trains run on the London Euston and Birmingham line and...

“Catch the bus”

ProTrains do occasionally run on time

ConsTrains rarely run on time

Silverlink are exemplified by poor reliability, especially when it comes to getting trains between Euston and Northampton, with frequent sudden terminations at Milton Keynes centeral, add this to the high prices (going up faster than inflation) and a inadequate timetable (there is only one train...

ProCheaper than Virgin!

ConsA bit cramped

..: Intro :.. Silverlink Trains, most say they are just an average train company, but if you look closer you'll see that they aren't. ..: Frequency :.. The trains are pretty frequent for a major UK train company. Well at least i think they are running through my local station (Watford Junction)...

ProNice clean, reliable, well kept trains

ConsColour on the trains!!!

Silverlink Trains, are perhaps not the best company, however, i would like to point out that since the introduction of the class 350 Desiro type trains, service has got much better, with approximately 3 trains ready in Euston any time upon arrival. Silverlink have a lot to explain with the...

“Silverlink are fantastic”

ProGood Clean trains, High Value for £

ConsSlow, late

From reading the other report on Silverlink, I thought that I would put in this: I, personally have never had a problem with their train service. They have always been very helpful, and I use them whenever possible. They offer great value for money, with railcards at just £12 from Milton Keynes...

The service provided by Silverlink between Euston and Northampton is shocking, that is putting it politely. A journey between Northampton and Euston use to take 70 mins, from what I recall, last year. Today, it took 95 minutes in the morning and 135 minutes when returning to Northampton. I could...

ConsDirty and slow

Why is it that the station staff NEVER seem to be able to provide the correct information? I have been using the Silverlink service from Gospel Oak to West Hampstead for the past 6 months, and only having a Zone 1 & 2 Travelcard, I thought I'd best check that I was covered for the Zone 3 station...

ProCan go to sleep in them

ConsNo consideration of customer

Silverlink from MK to London is not a particularly reliable service but from Northampton to Rugby and beyond it is dire. I can take a bus to Northampton from where I live to go onward to Birmingham and the north but have to allow an hour between connections to make sure of making them as...
