We have just returned from a week at the Chalet Montagnes with Simply Morzine. This is our second time with Simply Morzine, last year was at the Hotel Chaumiere. As before, we had a large group of 15, mixed adults and children (3 yrs - 9yrs).
The Chalet is just fantastic, just outside town, but within easy walk to Felix Ski, and the Pleney cablecar. What sets it aside from any other holiday we've been on is the level of service that is provided by Simply Morzine. They are outstanding in attention to detail, and no request is too much. From arrival at Geneva Airport, first night briefing and delivery of lift passes, picking up skis/boots, through shuttle to/from slopes every day, to the most amazing cooking from Tom, the top chef. We couldn't fault a thing.
The phrase of the week was 'millionaire lifestyle'. Well done to Mike, Gareth and Vincent from Simply Morzine for establishing a real customer friendly, service based company. It is to their credit that they have an all new team in Morzine this year, and yet Doog, Chris, Marien, Peggy and Mark are all superb and a credit to Simply Morzine. Top people, all of them.
Just remembered, we had two days with the complementary guiding service. Day 1, Doog took us down to Linga on an awesome day's skiing. Day 2 Chris took us into Switzerland towards Croset, and then back up into Avoriaz. Both were very knowledgeable, and professional, and gave us real confidence in stretching our skiing (first blacks) and our coverage of the fantastic Portes du Soleil.
In summary, a superb company, living a customer service ethic, staffed by a great team of people. The Chalet is lovely and perfect for a large group. The Hot-tub was particularly good after a full day on the slopes. Thanks guys!
