As a student from Singapore studying in UK, I have the opportunity to fly 10,000km twice every year on my annual trip back home. For such a long distance flight, I have only used 1 airline - Singapore Airlines.
A 13 hour direct flight is no laughing matter. The quality of the airline can either make this flight pass in a flash or seem like eternity. Fortunately, I am proud to say that SIA provides the dream service.
The service is efficient yet friendly. The air stewardesses always make sure that passengers have an enjoyable flight, and are especially good with children. The equipment on board is excellent: personal video screen playing the latest movies or for interactive video games (even on the economy section!). Food is actually pretty decent. I've heard that one can request instant noodles whenever one gets hungry too.
All in all, SIA is not just a great way to fly, it's the only way.
