After living all all over the far-east for three years, two years of which were at a boarding school in Singapore I came to know the airline very well. I have travelled extensively and I can quite honestly say that Singapore airlines is most definately my favourite. It does not matter where, or ,how long you fly for, the comfort is optimal, the staff are always warm and friendly and the service is always great. Even the infamous airline food is not too bad. I really cant find fault with this airline but I must be honest and say that I am very biased when it comes to all things Singaporean. But out of all of the airlines I have flown with, SIA has always come up tops with minimal effort. The economy class is much like business class on many other airlines - the seats are spacious and not itchy. There is a good duty free catalogue, though if flying from singapore I would recommend buying for the airport as there are often many special offers and the prices are often cheaper the the US price. There also a great inflight array of entertainment, ranging from a magazine, many different radio stations in all of singapore's official languages plus others and also television. On the larger planes there are mini tvs in the back of the seat and also a console with games.
