Miramar Singapore - Think again - appalling attitudes!

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Very dissappointed

We arrived at The Miramar at 23:00 on our way back to London from Australia. We had pre booked a room for two adults and one seven year old child. Upon arrival we were given a small double to sleep in. The manager was extremely unhelpful and nothing at all would be done without a charge regardless of the fact that our booking displayed our requirements clearly that a roll out bed was required for our son. The customer care was non existent to the ...

Delighting guests every single day. Mandarin Oriental Singapore.

Advantages: Great location. Excellent service that isn't too Singaporean! New rooms with excellent features!
Disadvantages: You will pay for the pleasure!

...keeping up with my Mandarin Oriental exploits then this is the third installment. Today I shall review one of Singapore’s finest five star hotels and let you into the world of Mandarin Oriental Singapore. I have stayed at a variety of hotels in Singapore but none have come as close to the perfect stay that you get at MO. I last stayed here in 2007 when the hotel was just branded as The Oriental, however Mandarin Oriental have since renamed the property ...
...be greeted by the Mandarin Oriental driver waiting with my name on a signboard. He eagerly took my bags and led me to the waiting car. As we drove into Singapore he offered lots of top tourist tips for my stay and gave me guidance on the attractions nearby to the hotel. The MO is situated in Marina Bay near the city’s major financial district and commands brilliant views over the skyscrapers and harbour. Nearby you can find an abundance of shopping ...

The tallest and one of the best

Advantages: Rooms are spacious, Shopping mall in the hotel, Taxi availability
Disadvantages: Check in takes too much time

The Swissotel The Stamford hotel in Singapore is the tallest hotel in South East Asia. There are over a 1000 rooms in the hotel. The amenities the hotel offers are quite good. The rooms are spacious and the view from the higher rooms are really amazing. One can either see the other skyscrapers in the city or the harbour from the higher rooms. The restaurants offer good food. The main highlight about the hotel is the Raffles Plaza is right in the ...
...service is quite good as well. You can catch a taxi right at the door of the hotel. The main worry in this hotel is the delay in check in time. I have stayed in this hotel many a times and I have faced this issue every time. Apart from check in issue, the hotel is an excellent place to stay for business as well as leisure purpose. ...

Grand Central Singapore

Advantages: in the center of singapore
Disadvantages: old hotel

...ago, I stayed in this hotel for one night. From the picture, it looked comfortable and nice, but when I saw the real hotel, I was not happy with it, especially because I paid quite a lot for staying in this hotel. Maybe because the hotel is located in the main street of Singapore, so we need to pay high price for staying here. The room of the hotel was somewhat old, you can smell it in the room when you enter the room. Since it was old hotel, the ...
