rendezvous hotel, singapore Advantages: good location, nice and modern, good facilities Disadvantages: none I stayed at the Rendezvous this year in May for one week. Our room was a superior room which was well furnished, with a spacious en suite bathroom, mini bar, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, in room safe, free tea making facilities, satellite tv, and internet facilities. The swimming pool and jacuzzi is situated in the middle of the hotel outside and is surrounded by 4 walls of the hotel. The gym is spacious with all the latest gym equipment. As ... ...sampled the buffet breakfast which was delicious! The hotel has its own restaurant- Straits Cafe and also the Palong Lobby bar. Located within the hotel's surrounding courtyard is various shops and outlets selling all types of food from sushi to italian. Outside the hotel is the "Kopitiam" 24 hour food court which has around 12 different vendors selling all types of food. The is also a 24 hour seven eleven convenience store. Great central Singapore location hotel Advantages: Good central location Disadvantages: None We have stayed here a couple of times on airline stopovers, as part of the all-in deal. The hotel's name is due to that fact that it was originally two hotels which they knocked into one, and kept both names. For this reason it is housed in two tall twin towers. It's a big hotel with 580 rooms, and is busy all the time. Everything ran smoothly with our stay, and there was no problem with the room, which was completely normal, comfortable, and unremarkable ... ...range big city Singapore hotel. The hotel has a wide range of facilities as you'd expect, including laundry service, moneychanger, etc. One interesting aspect of the hotel is the swimming pool. Grand Central Singapore Advantages: in the center of singapore Disadvantages: old hotel ...ago, I stayed in this hotel for one night. From the picture, it looked comfortable and nice, but when I saw the real hotel, I was not happy with it, especially because I paid quite a lot for staying in this hotel. Maybe because the hotel is located in the main street of Singapore, so we need to pay high price for staying here. Miramar Singapore - Think again - appalling attitudes! Advantages: None Disadvantages: Very dissappointed We arrived at The Miramar at 23:00 on our way back to London from Australia. We had pre booked a room for two adults and one seven year old child. Upon arrival we were given a small double to sleep in. The manager was extremely unhelpful and nothing at all would be done without a charge regardless of the fact that our booking displayed our requirements clearly that a roll out bed was required for our son.
