Summing Up
On the whole we had a good time in the Sirenis and Ibiza but I doubt we will be back to Ibiza because there is just too that much to see elsewhere. If I had my choice of Balearic Island it would have to be Majorca.

quality service, is one of the best hotels on the island. Its superb location, on the seafront in Playa d'en Bossa, less than 2km from the centre of Ibiza and at the heart of the well-known tourist resort of Playa d'en Bossa, makes it one of the best positioned hotels on the Island. Only 6km from the Ibiza international airport. It offers 252 fully equipped rooms.

When you mention Ibiza to most people they probably think of late night revellers dancing and drinking into the night. Perhaps you might also think of lager louts. However, there is another side to Ibiza that is particularly lush and beautiful, it is a lot greener than Majorca.
The Hotel =======
The hotel is three stars and has a good position above the beautiful secluded bay of Cala Llonga with its small beach and trees up each side of the bay.
The hotel is small with a large room for the bar, snacks and entertainment. The snacks served during the day are very good.
You might want to be careful eating snacks in the day when pool games are being played, I lost my food when a badly aimed shot hit me and knocked all my food over me. My advice, don't eat near the pool when there are games being played.
The room we had did not have a particularly good view, it faced a wall, was a reasonable size with a balcony and was very clean. However, most of the other rooms overlooked the pool and the bay so they should have excellent rooms. If you can I would recommend booking a sea view if possible. Our maid was especially thorough and very friendly.
The food in the hotel is very good. Some people complained but in all I was impressed and had some great and varied meals, most nights there was a chief cutting meat for you, including salmon.
The pool is small but probably just about big enough for the number of guests, if you like pool games then you will be in your element. We took part in the obligatory water volley and water polo, it did get quite competitive.
The staff at the hotel are all very friendly and efficient, especially in the dining room, the deserve a good tip.
One downside of the hotel is the lack of air conditioning, there is none in the rooms, restaurant or downstairs bar. The place to cool down, other than the pool, is the upper bar, and is a nice place the get away from the entertainment that was mostly poor.
However, one act blew our socks off, they are a duo of a guitarist and singer and bass player called 'me and im' and they are top notch, best entertainment I've had at any hotel. If you stay here I hope you get to see them.
The Resort ========
There is not much going on in Cala Llonga, this is perhaps why the hotel is all inclusive, there are a few bars and restaurants and that's about it. The hotel is not the Ritz, but is perfectly adequate. Proof that Ibiza is not just about clubbing all night, not that there's anything wrong with that.
The beach is nice and you can get a boat trip to Ibiza Town or lots of other locations around the island.
If you like to explore the island we can recommend Ibiza town and the especially the fort, get ready for a climb though. The views from the top are excellent and you can explore the fort. We got the bus in and it didn't cost very much, the exact cost escapes me.
We went in September for one week and the weather we had was excellent.
Summing Up =========
On the whole we had a good time in the Sirenis and Ibiza but I doubt we will be back to Ibiza because there is just too that much to see elsewhere. If I had my choice of Balearic Island it would have to be Majorca.
Advantages: Reasonable price, Within close reach of other islands, duty free shops are great. Disadvantages: None
We travelled to Cala Longa in Ibiza in September 2006 and stayed in the Club Playa hotel which is an all inclusive hotel on the beach front.
This is very handy if you want to keep nipping back for snacks or drinks seen as they are already paid for.
It takes between 45 mins and an hour and a half to transfer from the airport to the hotel depending on time of travel but we must have hit a bad day as it took us well over two hrs to get there that ... ...walk to the smooth sandy beach. I thought the hotel to be fantastic.
The natives are polite and nothing is too much trouble for them.They readily greet you on entering the shops. In the bars we were asked if we wanted to sit down and they would come for our drinks order and fetch it for us but I chose to fetch it myself. The least I could do was a little excercise!! They didn't seem to mind getting items out for you and off shelves as many as you ...
