After weeks of searching the internet for a new computer, I finally settled for the Dell Studio 540. I have owned this computer for a little over two months now, and have to say, that I am quite pleased with it?s performance. When it was delivered it was well packed, and all the glossy parts of the base unit were covered with protected covering, which takes a few moments to peel off. Everything was pre-installed so I didn?t need to use the enclosed windows vista operating disc, or drivers. Once I plugged it in, the first thing I noticed was how quite it was compared to my old pc, the first few seconds it?s just a wee bit loud, but even that is still quieter than my old pc, but it soon settles down to just a whisper. I bought my Dell Studio Laptop approx. 1 year before, I love it. It has many integrated funtions which make my life easy. I use it while travelling, in college and at home to get help for my studies and online research. I watch DVDs, connect it to my LCD TV and take much more benifits. Using integrated webcam I can see my family and friends while chatting. Memory card reader helps me to transfer music files easily on my mobile phone. One good thing that I like, it has support for two headphones at same time. Internet access is with WiFi card and fast ethernet port. It came with latest optical drive technology, Blue-ray. Also good to watch CD and DVDs. I like its physical look and colour. ...
