I moved to denmark last year, i felt a bit unsure moving to a country with a differnt culture and language to go with it, however right from the start i found that the danish people are extramly helpful and accomodating people, and with most of all danes speaking good english the comunicating ad getting around is never a problem (however thy really like it if yo try to learn there language, even if it is only a few words, with the worst pronounciation they are really receptive if you use dannish towards them).
I move to a City called Aarhus, it is denmarks 2nd biggest city behind the capital copenhagen, Aarhus is a fantastic sīcity with so much to īdo, it has a excellent city centre with everything you need shops pubs resteraunts, clubs, cinimas and lots more to do and see.

Advantages: Not as expensive as expected, friendly people, easy to get around, great beer! Disadvantages: More expensive than the UK, gets ignored when thinking about a short break
In another of my travel guides I had to write an opinion about this wonderful (but small!) country. I would never have even considered taking a trip to Denmark had it not been for a conference I was required to attend for work. I had heard it was expensive and the weather was very similar to that of the UK...so really no great appeal to a twenty something female - how wrong was I! This opinion is not meant to be a complete run down of Denmark, more of an account of the areas that I visited in the week I was there.

Food in Denmark.
Not the first place you would associate with a burgeoning food culture I know, but there are a number of dishes in Denmark that you just wont find in England. Denmark is culturally very similar to England, and neighbours with Germany and Sweden, and all these influences are apparent on the dining table. More background info is available here:
