The reason wrote this review was to warn other people of this place. I hardly ever write reviews, but my experience in this place made me determined to do so. I visited Santorini and fell in love with it and will go back definitely next year. But I will never eat there again even if i was starving to death. Me and my wife decided to go to Skala just because the view it offers is great. Staff were ok and attentive (the expect a good tip). Food was ok, but not anywhere near as good as the food you can get in other restaurants. Starters were ready made and the salad (greek salad) was awful. The main courses where nowhere near as good as Neptune (i think that was the name of a restaurant near Skala) but what completely blew me off, was that having eat half of my meatball/kiofte dish, was a pubic hair. I called the waiter and instead of apologising about it he set to convince me that it wasn't pubic hair but hair instead. I replied that I could tell the difference between pubic and normal hair and even if it was normal hair as he was trying to convince me, it didn't belong in my food. When I asked to see the manager he said that he wasn't there and he was rather rude. Having spoken to the person I was renting the house from, they told me that the owner doesn't really care about quality there as he knows that the view of his place is great and no matter what tourists will flock to his place.
By all means, do go to Santorini and specially Oia, but under no circumstances go and eat at that place unless you like junk food and want a pubic hair stuck on your teeth. Go instead to 1800 which is dearer but has professional chefs or Neptune (I think that was the name) where you can taste original local food.
