I have tasted what the varied competition have to offer when it comes to Paintballing, and there is no surprise that many respected paintballing fields are swapping over to join the Skirmish Paintball Games organisation and affiliating with them and their structure.
Quite simply, paintballing has a danger factor with it - so its important to ensure that the organisation does its best to ensure safety on the whole site. Secondly, well thought out scenarios and well built paintballing scenarios certainly enhance the fun factor and return factor for players. On both these important aspects - you can see how the The Skirmish Paintball Games ethos is drawing a higher crowd which continues to grow year on year.
As far as pure adrenalin and gameplay is concerned when it comes to paintballing - I have never had such a thrilling time as the days that I have played at such Skirmish Paintballing sites like Lasham Skirmish (the Hampshire Skirmish paintball site) or Necton Skirmish (the larger of the two Norfolk Skirmish sites). Bullswood Skirmish near London in Surrey is an awsome paintballing experience and Nottingham's Skirmish Paintball Games kicks butt !! All of them also have upfront pricing so that you can choose a proper days paintballing pack, instead of many competition out there who try to make it look cheap and then charge you for so many things once you are in their complex !!!!..... Its paintballing for gods sake, and such an extreme sport can never be really cheap without compounding the safety risks which the sport naturally has. I'd much prefer extremely well built forts/bridges/scenarios that also look awesome and take investment to construct - than make do with a cheap paintball site which looks cheap, and is built cheap with cheap thrills !! ... not surprisingly, such sites never come back up in my wish list of places to revisit once I experienced a few of the Skirmish sites across the UK.
What can I say? If you want to taste the best that paintballing has to offer, check out your local yellow pages and book a day at Skirmish with as many friends as you can muster! Alternatively, there is a great website which seems to be continually growing that details many of the top Skirmish Paintball Games sites across the UK and is easy to use: For Hampshire try: http://www.skirmishpaintballgames.co.uk/paintball%20oxfordshire%20lasham/lasham%20skirmish%20paintball%20games%20hampshire.htm for Necton try: http://www.skirmishpaintballgames.co.uk/east%20anglia%20paintball/foxwood%20skirmish%20paintball%20norfolk%20norwich%20ipswich%20suffolk%20East%20Anglia%20games.htm
or any other great site:

Happy paintballing :-)
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
So clearly an 'advert' for Skrimish by Skirmish! It streches credibility to think that the reviewer really travelled all over the UK (hundreds of miles from home) to play at Skirmish sites as far apart as Norfolk, Nottingham and Surrey. No one does that for a game of paintball!! Ciao is supposed to be about independant consumer reviews not corporate adverts - that's why I have graded this review VERY UNHELPFUL.
