Hi, I'm Linda. I haven't been on the site for a while, but after my trip to New York with my family, including my granddaughter who is also on the site (DixieChick10) I thought I'd tell you my opinion of Central Park Zoo

My husband and I stayed three nights at sky tower in Auckland, New Zealand in 2005. The Sky Tower is 328 metres and the tallest building in the southern hemisphere.
The hotel is huge but all the staff were very friendly, when I needed to contact my family by emails and was unable to get the hang of the computer, a young lad from the front desk came to help me do it. The internet was free to hotel guests and was widely used by most of our party.
To get to our room we went up in the lift on our arrival but the lift stopped at a much lower floor and wouldn't move. When we all trooped back to the front desk where we told that we had to insert our room card in a slot in the lift to access our floors, only guests were thus able to go near the rooms.
There are two brilliant casinos on two floors where I won lots of cash; all the restaurants serve lovely food, although they do seem to have a lot of Thai food.
On my birthday, my husband went up to the tower from where apparently you can see most of Auckland with views underneath your feet, thanks to the clear floor below. I hate heights so I spent a couple of hours playing the slots where I won two jackpots of 800 dollars so when my husband came down, we had a beautiful meal.
He enjoyed his trip up to the viewing platform but desperately wanted to try a bungee jump from the lower platform. We watched young and old jumping at various times, their friends and relations busy taking photos. I was against my husband trying as he was 67 and I thought he'd have a heart attack, in hindsight I'm sorry I said no as he died last year of a brain tumour.
Sky towers can be seen from where ever you are in Auckland so we never got lost. I would love to go back as we were made to feel so welcome, but it's too far on my own but I have lots of photos and wonderful memories.
I would take my 16 year old granddaughter, but not my 13 year old granddaughter as there's not much for her to do. My 16 year old granddaughter would appriate all the landscapes but the 13 year old would need more stimulation.
Recommend it to everyone, but there's not much stuff for children to do.
Hope this helps.
