Two Days at the Days Inn

Advantages: Location, cheap
Disadvantages: Staff

industry to be the most welcoming to tourists. Unfortunately we didn?t get the welcome we?d expected. The man behind the desk didn?t say anything as we came in ? he just stood there and waited for me to hand over our booking reference. All he said was ?Your room?s on the first floor, the stairs are behind you?. He obviously hadn?t noticed the size of our suitcases, but fortunately we managed to locate the lift ? there was certainly no question of asking for assistance with our bags! No information re hotel facilities or restaurant was given on arrival. Location The Days Inn is less than a five minute walk from the Niagara Falls which was really convenient. Most of the hotels in Niagara seemed to be in the same area. This made it really easy to get to the Falls, especially in the evening when we went to see the Falls lit up ...

Review of Days Inn, Niagara Falls

Ongiara - Niagara. Thunder of Waters.

Advantages: Fun holiday resort with exceptional Waterfalls
Disadvantages: Can get extremely busy in summer months

, the highest vantage point in Niagara, and is located on the third floor of the Dome. On a clear day you can see close to 8,000 square miles of Canada and the United States, including the skylines of Toronto and Buffalo. Running alone the base of the windows of the observatory is a series of information plaques telling some of the fascinating history of the Falls and the Tower itself. A souvenir shop is located on the indoor section of the observatory. Not only is the Skylon tower a tourist’s attraction it also is the home to a number of dining rooms and suites with award winning continental cuisine to suit many palettes and is presented in an elegant setting and a warm and inviting decor. The Skylon's world famous Revolving Dining Room is located on the first floor of the Dome. The dome revolves one every hour giving diners a magical view ...

Review of Niagara Falls (Canada)

Niagara Falls awesome

Advantages: breathtaking falls
Disadvantages: Clifton Hill area

Niagara Falls is one of the most awe-inspiring sights that I have ever seen. Before you can see the falls you can hear the thunder of the water cascading over the edge. We were there in June 2000 and found the place to be one of contrasts. The Niagara Parkway which runs alongside the Falls and on north to Niagara on the Lake is undoubtedly one of the nicest stretches of road that I have ever travelled along. The area immediately next to the Falls is quite scenic with well manicured gardens and floral displays but only one block west at the Clifton Hill area you have what can only be described as tourist trash- a combination of hideous neon displays advertising Ripley’s’ believe it or not’ and Madame Tussauds etc - it is totally out of sync with the raw, natural beauty of the Falls and surrounding area to the north ...
