...minutes away from Vienna airport, Bratislava airport has never really established itself as an airport – the airport is very small and seldom flown to by any of the major airlines – most fly into Vienna and offer a shuttle service to Bratislava. The only reason I have ever flown to and from Bratislava is because it is the hub for SkyEurope, the first Central European budget airline, which uses Ivanka (the name of Bratislava’s airport) and Budapest ... ...tech goods, you can forget Bratislava airport – although the shopping centre nearby might allow you to claim the VAT back on your purchases which could make a difference with regard to prices. It should be noted that since you are flying from outside of the EU into the EU you should also allow a bit more time for check-in - a minimum of 90 minutes is recommended - unlike the 30 minutes or so I tend to leave when flying from Vienna to another EU destination!

The highest gothic altar in the world

Levoca and its history
Advantages: rich history, good prices, nice people Disadvantages: travel, language
The 15th century Town Hall in the centre of Levoca is joined with Renaissance tower built in 17th century as a bell tower. Nowadays there is a Spis Museum on the first floor founded in 19th century. You can find there history of town, Spis region and also some art history. It is very interesting and useful for people who are interested in european history or history in general.
