beautiful Caribbean Andros Island (Bahamas). The lodge was built by renowned diver Dirk Birch, world record holder for diving 462 feet on compressed air. Birch recognized the recreational appeal of diving, becoming a pioneer of sport diving tourism in the 1960s. The Small Hope Bay Lodge reflects his embrace for the life aquatic. The all inclusive lodge offers guided scuba diving adventures to more than sixty dive spots around the island, including pristine coral reefs and warm blue hole caverns. Diving expeditions depart twice daily from the lodge's private dock, and the on site dive center stocks all the rental equipment required. For beginning divers, the property hosts training and certification classes. Additionally, the Small Hope Bay Lodge offers bone fishing, reef and deep sea fishing as well as eco tours of the subtropical wilderness for visiting blue holes or bird watching. Lodge amenities are minimalist, as not to spoil the natural environment. Guest cottages are located on the beach, and were hand built from coral rocks and natural timbers. They're furnished with locally made rattan chairs and large comfortable beds. The property offers no newspapers, phones or televisions in rooms. However, phones, faxes and a computer with complimentary high speed Internet access are available for your convenience in the office. Advantages: Accessible, attractive, atmospheric Disadvantages: Covers too small an area
the industrial town of Abbeville, but the tendency of the Somme to silt up - the mud level accretes at the astonishing rate of an inch a year - left the bay mercifully free of commercial shipping. It has no real port, just two small towns, originally fishing villages, one to each side of the bay.
Mostly, the surrounding coast consists of undulating dunes, low-lying grasslands and salt marshes, partly submerged at high tide. Advantages: tasty addition to stews and cassorole Disadvantages: maybe to strong for your taste
Bay is an everygreen herb which grows like a shrub, it can be grown in open spaces or in tubs.

They may die off in the winter but should throw new shoots during the following spring.
Bay is a native to the east mediterranean but have been grown in europe for years. They are a very popular herb to grow in your herb garden as they have a good use in cookery. You can use the leaves dried or fresh.

CASTLE LODGE
It was a family day out in Ludlow and whilst I was sitting resting on the bench, waiting for my hubby to return from checking the car and the parking fees, I noticed this really old Tudor style house opposite and on closer inspection discovered that it was open to the public. After we had a lovely lunch in the café situated next door to the lodge after a amazing trip around the castle. We were all in high spirits and enjoying our food and refreshments, I dropped the bombshell that I wanted to see the house, they did try to dissuade me as they were now getting slightly tired and wanted to do a little retail ...
