Advantages: nice tomato and bacon flavours Disadvantages: too spicy for me
I do like pasta but always like a nice sauce with them and get sick of the same old recipes. I was in my local supermarket and decided to have a look and see what there was, I do like a good brand but don't like paying more than £1.50 for a sauce as I feel it gets a bit much. This is when I came across the Lloyd Grossman pasta sauce which I have had before but have not tried many of the flavours. The one that I have chosen to write about today is the Smoky Bacon sauce which I cooked yesterday.
Lloyd does quite a range of sauces and other things; he does pasta sauces, Indian sauces and Oriental sauces so quite a lot of different cultures. He also does pour over sauces for pouring over meats and soups as well as different breads such as Ciabatta, Foccacia, and Naan. There's then also his pasta and lastly nut mixes as well.

Advantages: Good well cooked food and a vast choice Disadvantages: The distance for us to travel, I would like it to be a bit closer to home
THE MERMAID
Although I have lived close to Wolverhampton for most of my life, it has only been over the past 3 years that I have visited The Mermaid in Wolverhampton and my parents lived literary 3 minutes away for over 20yrs. My mother used to love steak baguettes or sandwiches with a serving of chips, which we have eaten here on our luncheons in sandwich form on thick crusty bread, red onion chutney, seasoned (this is means lightly salted with sea salt and pepper), and a small side salad. I have to say it was very impressive and filling.
Moving on I was so impressed that we arranged to meet friends here, who lived on the other side of Wolverhampton, as The Mermaid was a half way point, this ...
Advantages: fun toy for the bath Disadvantages: none
MY daughter is a big fan of Dora the Explorer so she was highly delighted when she received this Dora Swim and Splash Mermaid as a present from her nan on her fourth birthday. I was also very pleased because this is a bath toy and most of the bath toys we have, we have had since the girls were babies so they seem to have outgrown most.
The toy is about 25 cm tall and although it has Dora's face, instead of legs she has a mermaid's tail. She has long black hair and a beautiful jewelled necklace around her neck. I'm sure that my daughter would be perfectly happy just to play with her in the bath as she is (because she thinks she is so pretty), even if she did nothing extra at all!
But of course there is more to this toy because this is a 'swim and splash' mermaid, so as you would expect, Dora does actually swim - or I would say she has ...
