Mini Update (25/04/06):
I was asked by a Ciao member what the prices were generally like compared to similar places in Magaluf. I actually believe the prices to be slightly cheaper although it isn't noticeable ... ...the fact that it is out of the way and far from anywhere else and serves as an alternative dive for those staying in Magamar. They serve the same sort of food as the hotel but it comes with 50% less grease so you see it drip rather than actually run like a tap as you would in the hotel. A burger and chips order was a little under 6 Euros, the portions are generous, although I couldn't finish the meal. ... more
What is about to follow does include some harsh criticism, so before I embark I think it fair to say that I have not been back to this restaurant in the last couple of years so some of this information may be slightly out of date.
Snoopy is the closest restaurant to the Magamar apartments in Magaluf. As you come out of the Magamar and looked to the right, Snoopy is at the very end of the road that leads down to the beach and other/ nicer hotel complexes.
At first the restaurant appears quite welcoming because the front doors are normally open, connecting the indoor and outdoor seating areas. The front has a garden like feel about it because it is surrounded in plants and shrubbery.
On entering the restaurant, it becomes a little gloomy, you suddenly realise that the door is open to try and grab as much sunlight as possible, one would think there was no such thing as electricity in this say and age. It seemed darker still due to the size as it is a rather medium sized but spacious restaurant due to them not overcrowding the floor with tables.
The restaurant appeals to the younger traveller, by that I mean the kids and young teens. The menu is quite poor consisting of much of the junk you can get in the UK - greasy burgers, chips, ice cream, nothing fancy. The service is rather slow, but perhaps that's because half the staff are performing and the other half are watching them do so...
The main acts during the day seem to consist of magic tricks and balloon animal making. There is a lot of child-entertainer interaction and so from a child's point of view, this place could be heaven. A lot of the space is further dedicated to the children and so you often find a little mite running past your table on the way to the mini golf course they had to the left of them.
The golf course is a pretty cool idea. It is enclosed and has an attendant at the front and so children amuse themselves as they wait for their bangers and mash to arrive.
From an adult point of view, this place is an absolute dive and the food leaves much to be desired. It's a funhouse come greasy spoon that appeals to those who know no better but are bribed by toys and mayhem. If you want an escape from the beach during the hours suited for mad dogs and Englishmen (12-3pm), then this place is worth considering because it will take you 45 minutes to get any food and a futher 45 minutes to try chewing through it, by which time, it's almost safe enough to go out again.
I would recommend Snoopy, but only to those with really small children to be honest and I wouldn't suggest you necesarrily eat the food, merely have a coffee or something whilst you entertain the little ones.

Advantages: great staff Disadvantages: bit scruffy looking
i was just flicking through and i came across this review, and my memory went zing, i loved snoopy the pub in magaluf mainly because i am an avid snoopy collector. and the staff at snoopys were so good to me, they made me up a box of plates, cups, glasses you name it and posted it to me in the uk. it is dark and dingy inside, but the food is ecxellant especially the kebabs, and you can not without a doubt find a friendlier set of staff and to me ...
