Snowdona national park in north wales is a beatiful area of wales. There are many mountains and hills to climb for experienced walkers, and lakes to walk around for the less experienced. If you can do it climbing to the peak of snowdon is magnificent you can see for miles arround with breathtaking views of the rest of the park. My favourite climb is the glidders the next range over towards england from snowdon its self. Starts off with a gentle walk arround a lake where you can leave the weak or faint hearted to walk back next is a medium climb up past the devils kitchen a favourite climb for rock climbers When reaching the flat peak of the glidders its like being on the moon no vegetation just rock built up into cairns. Views are again magnificent until the clouds come in. Water sports are available on most lakes in the park but i reccomend reaching one of the peaks on a visit to snowdon. Well worth a visit with a group a couple or family depending on the time of year. For the not so able a trsain service runs from march until october so you dont miss out Ive never been on it it seems a bit expensive when i can walk easily enough.
