Advantages: Good place for bargain Disadvantages: No
...This is a must-go spot in Seoul. It used to be part of the city gate but now it has become the symbol of Seoul. The gate seats on a big roundabout and it's surrounded by various big department store. The area near the gate is now a very vibrant area with shops and eating places that are open 24 hours a day. It's a place for bargain goods such as clothes and shoes. It's also the place for souvenir shopping as the prices are much more competitive than any other tourist spots.
How to get there:
Get off at Dongdaemun Stadium Subway Station (Seoul Subway Line No. 2) Exit No.1 and walk for 15 minutes.
Get off at Dongdaemun Stadium Subway Station (Seoul Subway Line No. 4) Exit No.4 and walk for 5 minutes....

poor hotel Review ofSofitel Capsis Hotel, Rhodesby
lisapizza
Advantages: the weather Disadvantages: everything
...Trusting the Sofitel name, we booked and pre paid for 7 nights at the Sofitel Capsis Rhodes.
Upon arrival, we found that we had to make our own way to the room, bags in tow. When we entered the room we were surprised at how small it was. We are a family of four, (2 adults and 2 kids). The room consisted of 1 double sized bed (not even a queen), 1 single bed, and 1 fold away bed. There was literally no room to move. The room also contained a 12 inch TV.
Being such a big hotel (691 rooms), the dining room was very noisy. The food was pretty average.
The prices within the hotel are exorbitantly expensive. For example, at the pool bar, a take away instant coffee, served in a small, disposable, plastic cup, cost 3.80 euros. No wonder nobody around the pool seemed to be drinking anything.
The mini club they advertise on their web site, doesn...

Advantages: Beautiful place with many different attractions Disadvantages: Very steep in places!
...We spent half a day wandering around this central Seoul attraction. Easy to find and access, and great for a good walk, with plenty to keep you occupied, the highlight is of course the viewing platform at the top of the tower. On a clear day the views over Seoul are tremendous. The most fun we had was taking the cable car from the base of the park right up over the treetops to the tower. It is reasonably priced and modern, it can comfortably accommodate over 20 people at a time, with great views on the way up and way down. I particularly enjoyed looking down into the tree canopy - and I don't usually like heights!
There are plent of gift and refreshment shops near the tower, and lots of little places to walk around if you don't fancy the cable car....
