Advantages: culture and wine Disadvantages: some places are dirty
...At the gates of the greatest vintages of the world, at some
miles of the Atlantic Ocean, Bordeaux put a point of honor to
develop its exceptional architectural and cultural heritage. Such
point that it was indicated " Town of Art " by the ministry for the
Culture in 1978. This reward, perfectly justified, makes it possible
to guess the extent of the monuments, museums, rooms of art or places
which make the pride of the capital of Aquitaine. During my many
voyages, I was brought to discover in-depth this city, and eager to
share my knowledge with the ciao users, I propose one to you strolls "
virtual " of Bordeaux. In a slapping of finger, I send to you on the

Advantages: Beautiful, lots going on, many shops Disadvantages: Lots of graffiti
...I vistied Bordeuax in the summer for the Bristol-Bordeaux exchange. This consisted of me going to Bordeaux for two weeks trying to improve my French. It worked!
there is a lot of great features in Bordeaux. the airoport was the first thing i saw. It was very clean and ran on time.
I then was on the road where you see all the vine yards and big houses. the only bad thing was the amount of grafiti. this was probably becasue i was driving through a bad suburb.

Those of you who know how much Quicksilver costs will be suprised that you could buy shirts for 5euro about 3-4 pounds. Then they had my favourite shop which i think should...

Advantages: Cheap and cheerful, central location secure car parking Disadvantages: Not far from fire station and police HQ, the sirens!
...sleeper you can't hear the noise anymore.
The rooms sleep 3 comfortably in a double and a bed sofa, they have a colour TV with some english channels, mainly news programmes. The bathroom is ensuite and well maintained, there is a shower and a half bath, which is particularly useless unless your a child or a vertically challenged person. The shower is detatchable and high pressured. Toileteries are supplied.
The down side is there is no air conditioning, but when your staying in a room costing about £28 what would you expect.
The breakfast is not included in the price , but is only about £6 and its eat all you like with hot, cold and cereal options. I have never had an evening meal there, Bordeaux has far too many other choices!
There is plenty of tourist information in the reception area and if you ask at reception they will give...
