Sofitel City Centre Hotel Residence, Dubai

Advantages: Dubai is a safe place with very good quality of life. There is universal brotherhood everywhere.
Disadvantages: None for me, but the hot weather for tourists who are not used to this.

Lovers of the yellow metal will never be disappointed, as there is a gold market(Gold Souk)from where the purest of gold and gems can be purchased. Advantages: Nice Weather, beaches, food, destinations, shopping!
Disadvantages: Can be too hot if you go between June-August!

..., which was a relatively new building, used as a hotel and the Burg Al Arab, which is a seven star hotel. God, this building is soooo beautiful, I know I keep saying beautiful but there is no other words to describe it! The Burg Al Arab is a hotel which rises out of the blue waters of the arabian gulf sea and resides on the coast of Jumeriah Beach, and at night, the whole building glitters! We also drove down something refered to as the Arabic version of Beverly Hills in America, this is where all the rich people live with their palaces, you can also drive past Sheikh Saeed's House who is a very influencial arabic ruler. Advantages: Good location, view from some rooms
Disadvantages: Back-facing rooms don't have a good view

...From the outside, the hotel doesn't look impressive, especially when compared to other hotels in Hangzhou such as the Radisson, in the city centre, or the Grand Hyatt, which is right by the lake. One thing that does beat the hotels based in the city centre, is the location. If you have ever been to Hangzhou, then the West Lake area is the best area to stay in - simply because the West Lake is beautiful. Sofitel Westlake isn't right by the lake itself, but take a 2-3 minute walk, and you're there. So for lake viewing, it is more than convenient enough. I stayed on the business-class floor, and the service was fantastic there. Located on the same floor is also the business lounge, which provides snacks and beverages - and also a really lovely balcony which gives a great view of the lake.
