I've stayed at this hotel as I attended an event held in the conference centre.
Parking was difficult, mainly because this hotel offers a park and stay facility for Heathrow Airport and after driving around each area of the car park we ended up parking at the side of the exit road. It was good job that we stayed on site for the time we were there as I wouldn't have fancied my chances at parking up again if we left and came back.
When we checked in we were told that a pre-authorisation charge would be put on the account until we checked out. This is fair enough, obviously they don't want people charging items to their room and not paying, but our pre-authorisation charge was £400 - nearly three times what our total bill would be. Personally I thought this was excessive.

(you cannot get in if hold blue member card like we do which is a shame). The process of boarding the plane was very simple, called in order of seat numbers which is a good idea as a few hundred people pushing to get past is not a good idea!
Upon landing at Heathrow, we taxied from one of the runways to T5 which took at least 10-15 minutes upon touchdown. We departed the plane and made our way to the shuttle train which takes you from a smaller building to the main T5 building, These trains run frequently to the main building. Up on arrival of T5 we went through to the baggage claim and got our luggage from one of the many conveyor belts which was selected for our flight. We made our way through to the Arrival side and through the doors where there is a vast amout of glass and space.

I stayed at the Sheraton Skyline hotel near Heathrow airport in September 2007 before I flew out on my annual holiday. I booked this hotel because according to their website, it is literally on the doorstep of Heathrow Airport.

Our room was located on the 10th floor but sadly the room overlooked the hotel car park but to be honest this wasn?t a problem because we weren't staying here for the view! Our room was very large, much bigger than I expected for the price I paid. The bed was extremely large, probably about 6 feet wide and very comfortable. It certainly left us both feeling like we had a decent nights sleep.
The room also had two wardrobes, an office desk and chair and a lamp on either bed side table. There was also a fully stocked mini bar but to be honest the prices were so extortionate that we didn?t even bother ...
