Advantages: The most comfortbale bed in thw world! Disadvantages: Phone calls cost!!
For our honeymoon we went to several places in the US, we stayed in LA for 4 nights all at the Sofitel hotel. We also stayed at the famous - Waldorf Astoria in New York and the Sofitel hotel comes very close to the Waldorf in terms of our favourite.
The location of the hotel is not the best, i.e it is not in the middle of all the action, however tl not be a hindrance if you rent a car, and I suggest very strongly that you should rent a car because ... ...We only stayed in a standard room but it was huge!! The best bit about it was the bed. We were seriously jet-lagged for the first 2 days of the trip in LA so sleep was important, and I have to say that the best nights sleep of my life were in that bed. I can't explain it - it was so comfortable and very big, it must have been queen size, I could spread out completely without even touching my hubbie! Definitely well worth the money!
