I have been going to the Sol Guadalupe for the past 5 years with my family. The reason we keep going back is just because it gets better and better every time we visit.

So for those of you who have not been to Majorca before why should you go ?.
Its a short flight (2 - 3 hours)
Its hot from May to September
It has something for all age ranges (Stag Do`s, Familys, Teen Holiday)
It has great background culture
It has a wide range of different but all spectacular beaches
Celebrity's go there on there yachts

So there is 1,000`s of hotels in Majorca right ? So what makes the Sol Guadalupe so special ?
There is 20+ different Sol hotels in Majorca all ranging from all ranging from 3*`s to 5*`s or apartments.
Sol Guadalupe is in Magalluf this part of Majorca can often be referred to as more of a party central to the younger tourists going to Majorca but it all depends on where you go. Magalluf is something that you have to experience because for some people it is the perfect fit.
Its is about a 20 Minute drive from the airport to the hotel this is a good distance because it is not a long journey and you don't feel like you are in an earthquake every time a plane lands.
The hotel has 9 floors and 2 lifts although I do advice that if you do have a young family get a lower floor because after shows and when going in from the pool slide a wait for the lifts can be a long one.

Sol Guadalupe is 200 metres from the beach and you can have a great sea view from the front if you are on about floor 4 and above.
The hotel is near by 4 golf courses parfect for all you golfers, and if you don't fancie teeing off then it is also a short walk from 2 of the leading water parks in Majorca these are Western Water Park which features bird shows and acrobatic pool dives along with some thrilling rides or Aqua land, one with not so so thrilling rides but the ones that are thrilling there is more of.
Katmandu a recent build in Magalluf is another great attraction for family's; it is an upside down house that inside you follow the myths of the Yeti whalsed seeing some amazing adventures (I have done a review of Katmandu on Ciao).
Sol Guadalupe has 493 rooms these range from 1 bed, 2 bed and family rooms each room has its own balcony, bathroom, air conditioning, Satellite TV, Telephone, Safe (Costs extra), and some washing machines, dryer and iron in the wash room (extra charge).

No-one can possibly fault the amazing food in Sol Guadalupe at Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner there is always a wide range of foods from each country (some made in front of you on request I.e Pasta, Omelettes) It is self service but there is always staff about who speak perfect English and are always willing you help you out if needed.
There is also 2 bars one outdoor where snack food, like burgers, chips and hot dogs are available along with drinks and ice creams (The outdoor one is open though out the day and when shows are on in the night). The indoor bar is open when the shows are on inside or when the bar outside is closed. The staff working at the bar are always polite and speak perfect English.

There is 3 swimming pools 1 main outdoor one for adults (in the summer months 30 people can be in this and you still have room to swim ( to show how big it is ) ) another smaller pool setback in more shaded area for the young children and a large indoor pool that is freezing I warn you now.
A children's playground with swings and a slide, an internet area with 4 computers (dont expect more than 2 of them to work at one time and if they do you are a very very lucky person) I have to say thought that the internet is a reasonable price 1 hour for 3 euros and half an hour for 2 euros, the best thing with this is you get a code on a piece of paper so you dont have to use all your time at once you can come back later on and use your time then.

The entertainment well where do I start this is what really does make Sol Guadalupe, an amazing hotel.
There is a mini club for children aged 5 to 11 whalsed there they can take part in panting, playing games, dressing up, making things and playing water sports. This is available for free from 11 - 1 and 3 - 5. Then in the evening before the main show there is a Mini-Disco where the children will dance, play games on stage or be presented with certificates that they have earned earlier in the day.

The adults can take part in a range of activity's too these include pistol and rifle shooting, actuary, fitness, French bowls, lawn bowls, ping pong, water polo, water volley and some great team building games on special days. These activity's like the children's are available from 11 to 1 and 3 to 5.
The shows on a night are ones not to be missed they run over a routine of 2 weeks (There is a different one every night for 2 weeks) and they can range from getting some of the guests to take part in shows like grease, or they get professionals in to do special shows these can range from music to magic.

If this is not enough you can earn free nights at all sol hotels by getting involved with a sol Mas card you get also get special benefits (these change from hotel to hotel)
